Redistribution of powers and finances between Samara local self-government bodies during the intracity division reform in 2015–2020

In 2015, a local self-government reform in the form of creation intracity districts has been implemented Samara. Formally, each district became an independent municipality, with its own representative body, Council Deputies, head administration elected by it, and budget. This required redistribution powers between city level government areas. At start reform, it was declared that main goal bringing closer to people. Therefore, expected many important would be transferred level. It also financial resources along these powers.
